I took some of the photos against a white background cloth so you can better see that the plate is a cream colored glass, not a white glass.

What are “safe” levels?
Are these dishes safe?
I have had this set for many years. I have always loved them because they suit my cooking. How dangerous are they after a long period of time? They aren’t in use every day.
Hi Barbara – Here are links to two posts that discuss the concerns about this work (give it some context):
1. https://tamararubin.com/topics/does-vintage-and-new-functional-pottery-and-dishware-have-unsafe-levels-of-lead/
2. https://tamararubin.com/2021/06/but-is-this-dish-or-toy-or-lamp-or-vitamin-or-piece-of-jewelry-or-tibetan-brass-singing-bowl-actually-going-to-poison-me-and-how-would-that-happen-exactly/
I personally would not choose to have any kitchenware with Lead in my home. There’s also the concern of what happens after you pass away… and you want to make sure kids and grandkids don’t take these to use in the future (out of sentimentality). For me that’s the big concern.
Let me know if you have additional questions after reading those.

Thank you for your work on product safety. Are all Corelle designs manufactured before 2005? What if these patterns were re-produced after 2005? How do we find that out?
There are some newer ones listed here on the website. Look up “Modern Corelle”. Unfortunately the company has never marked them with a year of manufacture (I wish they would do that!)

I do not see a photo of any design of the few plates that I use . Most of my plates are just white no designs. Am I safe ?
Is Cornell offering a buy back or a swap or some kind of offer to get rid of these. I have two sets that are shown here. Please advise.
Typing mistake Corell
I have been using these bowls and coffee cups daily for 16 years. I will but use them anymore, but they were my favorite. Lightweight and just the right size. What do I have to be concerned about now?
These were our family dishes for years and our adult son has oral cancer. Thank you for this information.
This pattern is called “Country Violets”
I have a lot of dinner ware of Corning Ware “Meadow” dishes purchased in 1963, been using them ever since. Raised my children and my grandkids on them. How do I part with them?
I have other corning ware dishes, still eating out of them.
I ordered 4 sets of Corning Ware in 2003/2004/2005. We have been using them ever since. They are white, 2 sets have double red circles on edge, 2 sets have double black circles on edge. Are these safe?
Gayle Vest (Leanne’s Doll Clothes)
I used the name Gayle Leanne (middle name)(Leanne’s Doll Clothes) (I made from children clothes, therefore referbished) and traveled the shows for about 5 years. I had to retire due to both my and my husband’s bad health. Now I am 82 and he is 89 so I doubt be will be doing craft shows again. Thank you for letting me know about our present dishes.
