I totally had that house as a kid!! Start with it!
At first pass it appears to be lead-free, but I will do a more thorough pass later.
Did you do another pass?
I want to say because they are all leaded and you can post about them on your blog? and have pictures?
YES! For my lead-museum collection!
Can you please comment on the levels for house with the brown roof? The one on the left in the picture. My daughter currently plays with it.
I was wondering if you had gotten to any of these circus & farm animals?
FARM: I have the white & the black sheep, the white, the brown & the black horse, the red & the white chicken, the brown dog, the pink, the white & the black pig as well as the brown, the white & the black cow.
CIRCUS: The elephant, the lion, the monkey & the bear.
All I believe are from the 1960’s to the 1970’s.
Hi, my children have the brown house at my home, the school house and bus at my parents as well as playground items and the dolls… Did you get around to testing these?
Did you test the brown house? I can’t find it on your site and my daughter loves it and I am worried to know!
Have you tested the house in the picture? We are wondering too! My kids play with it too…
None of these vintage toys should be played with by children. Even Fisher Price issued a gentle warning that they should not be played with by children today as they are not safe by modern standards.
Can you please test the brown house to be sure? I’d hate to throw it out and create a meltdown if not necessary. We love this thing. Please please test for all of us asking.
Some of those test positive and some test negative – believe it is based on country
of origin of manufacture – but have not pinned it down. Per Fisher Price’s own statement – these vintage pieces should not be used by children – because they do not comply with modern safety standards for toys.
Awe man! Would you happen to know a few of the countries that tested positive or negative? Just in case it’s one of the ones my girl was playing with?!!!
Maybe I’m missing something but where are the results posted? Specifically asking because my littles have been playing with the brown house at grandma’s!
