When tested with an XRF instrument this Corona BP 3640 Ergo-Action Bypass Hand Pruner was negative for lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), arsenic (As) and mercury (Hg) on all components.
Overall this seems like a good choice/ good brand. This one is mine, that I purchased in 2016 for trimming my roses, etc. We got the one with the ergonomic handle and spring action so that it would be easier for me to use (I have fairly small hands.)
For items like this it is not uncommon for the rubberized handle to be positive for lead or for other elements to be painted with leaded paint (even with recently manufactured items) so to find one that is completely lead-free is terrific!
As always, please let me know if you have any questions!
