  1. Do you think it’s safe to use dishes made in China as trays under plants in home? Or better to just get them out of here all together?

    1. Hi D.! Thanks for commenting. In general I do not have a concern for dishes made in China. As you can see this post that you commented on includes dishes made in California and dishes made in Mexico that are positive for unsafe levels of Lead. I have actually tested quite a few “Made in China” dishes (recently manufactured) that range from being negative for lead entirely to being positive for just a low level of Lead (within what is considered “safe” range by all current standards!) So without more information to go on (about the specific dishes you are referring to) I do NOT have a general concern for Lead in products Made in China. In fact, many recently manufactured Chinese products are Lead free BECAUSE Chinese products have been so closely scrutinized in the past couple of decades!

  2. Thank you for posting this video ! Very informative. I just tried to find that over the counter test but it seems like it is no longer made. Do you recommend another one ? I have a glazed pot from Mexico i would like to test.
