The GoFundMe link to contribute to our Legal Defense Fund is below.

This GoFundMe campaign has been live since February of 2017 and has helped raise an average of about $5,500 a year over the past nine years in support of our legal team costs. We still have about $270,000 in outstanding debts related to our Federal Civil Rights case.

  1. Not a fan of BL and RR at all and don’t support them in this trial ( been following since the beginning ) . How strange to you pop up. I’ll have a look now.
    Woah!
Ooh no is there any proof of this, there was no proof against Justin baldoni when I following a month ago I’ve been busy. I am following popcorned planet and they cover it really well. I’ll have to catch up . It’s like two worlds colliding in my life

  2. Manna from heaven! I know your instinct is to BLOW this up, but far greater opportunity is to fire the suit that will be heard round the world! I know the filing is public record, but urge you to consult your attorney regarding ramifications of sharing on your site and social media.

    1. Hi Brenda,

Mostly I just wanted to share what we have already found and leave it at that.

We have spent more than a year quietly “ignoring” all the noise and collecting evidence (not giving this any airtime / oxygen on the public facing side) — but now is the time that we need to collect more evidence on this (with help from our community), and also raise funds for the legal costs (which to date for me have exceeded $7,000 paid to lawyers in 2025, $5,000 in other direct costs generated by all of this, and probably about $15,000 spent on related costs including research and support from our team helping with all of this.

This does not get into the indirect costs and the impact of these smear campaigns on our bottom line. Frankly – my family is barely keeping it together, as I continue to invest everything we earn into the business and the movement. I do hope that 2026 is going to be “our year’ – and I think it is possible (with the app and all that may precipitate!)

Now that someone else had publicly filed this legal paperwork mentioning a smear campaign against us (and my name was floating around in various public chat rooms and discussions, and news articles) — it was finally time to make a statement and a request for help (as I have in this video).

Being public about the evidence trail that has been collected on this by others (working on the Lively and Jones cases), also just might get the nonsense to stop (if the bad actors realize – finally – that they can be found, even though they felt their campaigns against us were anonymous and untraceable).

I have been told we have a good solid case, but that it will be expensive and will take time.

I had exchanges with three lawyers this past week, and I am talking to another lawyer about this on Tuesday.

We are so sick of always needing legal representation (simply for telling the truth and protecting children), and my husband has asked me if I want to give up and shift gears — but I don’t. I am not ready to give up helping others — it’s not in my nature.

  3. When I click the link, the page just blinks. Somehow yesterday I got to a youtube video. I watched for an hour and it was very well done. I want to finish watching but can’t find it.

  4. Tamara- Here’s what I think I understand:
    1. You need funds so lawyers can research whether you have grounds to bring a defamation case.
    2. If you do bring a defamation case, it would be on a contingency basis.
I have a few comments and questions:
    1. It’s not just men who attack successful women whose ideas they don’t like, although that may be the case most often. Many men and women just don’t like successful women.
    2. Have the lawyers considered yet whether you are a “public figure”, in which case the bar for success will be higher?
    3. If you do sue, it will take more time away from your work.
    4. Where are the “deep pockets”? You might win a case, but collecting is a whole other world.
    5. As long as you are in this business, you will be dealing with lawyers. The lead industry is powerful, and this has a “trickle down” effect, if you want to call it that, to the makers of the risky products you are exposing.

    1. No. That’s not entirely correct.

      1. We already paid the lawyers thousands of dollars to evaluate the case and they think we have a good case, now they need a retainer to move forward.

      2. They have told us that they will not do the case on a contingency basis – it is too complex.

Second #1) yes I understand that. In most of the cases they have uncovered related to this particular case it is men attacking and defaming women (specifically in this case).

Second #2) yes – they have evaluated this consideration.

      3. I think that if we give it to a good lawyer I will be able to stop thinking about it and interacting with it – My team has been amazing in shielding me from the nonsense and chaos so far, but having a lawyer in place will make the difference (and being able to pay the team for their help moving forward will also save us money on legal fees – I discussed this with the attorneys today).

      4. There are some very deep pockets on the other side of this case, collection is possible and likely.

      5. Yes – once we have the app launched (and more regular / persistent generated income for the business) we will be able to start setting aside funds for our legal defense (keeping our best lawyers on standby!)

  5. Hi Tamara, unfortunately, when dealing with this type of people, their goal is their own monetary gain, not to protect public safety. They don’t care if someone gets poisoned from their products since most of the time they are immune from liabilities. That means cases like this will continue to appear.

This type of work is extremely important because you are doing what the FDA is supposed to do but has failed to do. What I would suggest is decentralizing the business so you are not a single main target and making it more group-centered. For example, multiple women could work with multiple labs, and the results could be posted on a public website or similar platform. This way, the business is conducted directly between consumers and labs, and it is no longer your responsibility.
