A Quick Note from Tamara Rubin

Tuesday
The chart above compares the independent, third-party laboratory test results of the three different popular boxed mac & cheese products — all of the products in this category that we have tested to date through the Lead Safe Mama, LLC Community Collaborative Laboratory Testing Initiative.
Links to the product-specific articles — which include the full original lab report for each of these three products — are below, please scroll down to “Section #2” for those links. Each of these Mac & Cheese products tested positive for toxicants (heavy metals) at levels that the medical and scientific communities consider unsafe for consumption by young children.

*Please note: We are not a 501(c)3*, so your contributions are very much appreciated, but they are not tax-deductible gifts. Thank you!
501(c)3 nonprofit organizations are too vulnerable to corporate attacks (which we often face as a response to our independent, third-party testing) — so the 501(c)3 business model does not work well for Lead Safe Mama, LLC’s work. While we are not a 501(c)3 nonprofit, we operate very much like a nonprofit organization, as we rely on both community participation in our work and community financial support. Thank you!
