Oh well! So much for trying to get this done around the first of the month — lol! This graphic (above), and the charts below show our final February 2024 readership numbers. I have been so slammed with work this month that I have not had a moment to write this up and share it.
The one goal I wanted to articulate with this post is the growth of our Lead Safe Mama Instagram following. Our Instagram presence is helping us reach more new parents than ever before — and this is really the best demographic to reach when it comes to helping educate families so that childhood Lead poisoning can be PREVENTED before it happens.
- In the month of February 2024 our Instagram following increased by 12.7 percent! (Check out the screenshot above.)
- We closed out February with more than 61,178 Instagram followers.
- If this trend continues month-over-month until the end of the year, we might see the following growth:
- By end of March, February’s closing 61,178 + 12.7% = 68,947
- The end of April, at this rate, would leave us with: 77,703
- End of May at this rate: 87,572
- End of June: 98,694
- End of July: 111,228
- End of August: 125,354
- End of September: 141,274
- End of October: 159,215
- End of November: 179,436
- EOY (End of December 2024), at this rate: 202,224
- Given the above is actually possible (as shown by the increase in engagement we saw in February alone), we’re going to set a Lead Safe Mama Instagram follower goal for 2024 at 200,000! I would LOVE your help in making that happen — increasing the impact of our work helping families around the world.

Has anyone come up with after-market lead-free inside pots for Instant Pot cookers? It seems like that would make sense and be very popular, too.
Not that I know of. I mean the stainless insert that it comes with is lead-free, but you are looking for something other than that?
