For those new to this website:
Tamara Rubin is a multiple-federal-award-winning independent advocate for childhood Lead poisoning prevention and consumer goods safety, and a documentary filmmaker. She is also a mother of Lead-poisoned children (two of her sons were acutely Lead-poisoned in 2005). Since 2009, Tamara has been using XRF technology (a scientific method used by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission) to test consumer goods for toxicants (specifically heavy metals — including Lead, Cadmium, Mercury, Antimony, and Arsenic). All test results reported on this website are science-based, accurate, and replicable. Items are tested multiple times to confirm the test results for each component tested. Tamara’s work was featured in Consumer Reports Magazine in February of 2023 (March 2023 print edition).

Thank you for checking out these links and for sharing about our work. If you want to learn more about which products have unsafe levels of Lead (or other heavy metals), I recommend starting your inquiry by taking a look at the Lead Safe Mama website menu. Here’s that link: https://tamararubin.com/website-menu/

I share about these Lead-free choices specifically at the request of Lead Safe Mama readers. We have paid to promote this post (on Facebook) to ensure more people see these options. For many of the options listed on Amazon, you can likely find the same items in your local brick-and-mortar stores (sometimes at better prices!). So, it is worth keeping this list (and our other shopping lists) handy when you do your local shopping (at Target or Walmart or similar!). Here’s a link to more lists of Lead-free choices on the Lead Safe Mama website: https://tamararubin.com/category/2023-amazon-picks/.

The 1st link takes me to a 6 piece set by Glasslock, not the set of 9 green containers in the center of the picture. Which is the one you recommend? The clear Glasslock or the green? And what is the name & link for the green ones, if they are lead free?
Thanks for the heads up. Please try again – i think I fixed it. I also recommend (and love!) the Glasslock but shared these for someone looking for one without glass.

Am I correct that stoneware (Pfaltzgraff) contains lead in the glaze?
Does the Oster blender test free of antimony too?
Just in time, I needed a new blender. Thank you! On a side note is 2 micrograms of lead from a single serving size of match ok to drink daily or is it too much?
Too much.
