Never a dull day around here [my car went “kaput!”]… looking for a personal favor… ty!

Shared on Facebook and Instagram today..
Hello friends! Well… yesterday did not go as planned! [Understatement of the year!] Here’s what I just shared on Facebook – and I thought I would share it here too… in case anyone knows someone who knows someone who can help out! Thanks in advance!:
Is anyone here in Hartford, CT? I need a personal favor. My car broke down and I had to get a rental car to continue our path this week. I had to leave my car and my kayaks in Hartford while I figure out what our next steps are (I am in the Baltimore area helping a family today.] I need to find someone who might be able to pick my kayaks up at the shop where I left my car and hold onto them until further notice. I haven’t decided yet but it probably makes the most sense to sell them at this point… but I should figure that out in the next couple of days -they are worth about $600 for the pair of them. [The car needs a new engine – the quote was for over $8,000 – so I am still trying to figure out what to do now that our plans have changed since one goal of this cross country trip [in addition to helping / working with / meeting up with families of Lead poisoned children as we drive across the country] was to drive my car home – and the car isn’t really worth that much!] #NeverADullMoment, please text me if you think you can help (or if you know anyone in the Hartford area that might like to buy two Kayaks :-). Thank you: 415-609-3182.
Staying’ Positive! 🙂

You ate such a cute family! I wish I could help financially, but my car is about the same situation. A 2007 Toyota with 227705 miles.
If you know anyone who Would pay over $800, – maybe wants parts for another rebuild, I could get another car to hold me the rest of my life. (My joke – who will die first. I’m 74 1/2)
I will be praying for just the right solution for you. (I’ll Add you go my car prayers. )
ARE such a cute family. Spell check hates me.
