Additional Prize Considerations & #GiveAway Rules
For All #LeadSafeMama  #GiveAways

1.) For all Lead Safe Mama #GiveAways with more than one prize:

For any #LeadSafeMama #GiveAway with more than one prize (for example the Instagram#GiveAways with multiple prizes) the winner chosen first will have their choice of the prizes offered and the second winner will receive the prize the first winner did not choose. The first winner has 24 hours from the announcement that they won / from being informed that they won to choose which prize they want from the prizes they are offered.

2.) Donating prizes

If at any time a prize winner would prefer (instead of accepting the prize themselves) to donate the prize to a family with Lead poisoned children, that is always an option (we have thousands of families of Lead poisoned children in our network and would choose someone in need of the prize.) Alternately we welcome winners to accept the receipt of the prize and then donate it to a family in need they choose in their community. [Daycare centers, homeless shelters, religious organizations and others can often use the types of prizes we offer!]

3.) Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash

We do not offer an option of a cash payment to winners in lieu of the prize they have won. Prizes are in the form of the described consumer goods only.

4.) Refusal of the prize altogether

A prize winner is welcome to refuse the prize altogether if that is simpler for them. In those cases a new name (from all eligible entrants) will be chosen at random to take their spot in the #GiveAway.

5.) Accepting your prize

For all #LeadSafeMama #GiveAways you have 24 hours from the time you are notified (either via e-mail or via a PM (Private Message) on the relevant social media channel – depending on the venue for the #GiveAway – see specifics below) to accept your prize. To accept your prize you must respond stating that you would like to accept your prize and you need to include your shipping address so that we can send it to you. If you don’t respond to accept your prize within 24 hours of being notified  (including sending us your shipping address) an alternate winner will be chosen.

• For e-mail list / newsletter #Giveaways, the winner will be notified via an e-mail sent to the email that the winner used to subscribed to the list. If you want to win one of these #GiveAways please only subscribe with real / active e-mails that you check regularly. If you don’t respond within 24 hours of being notified, an alternate winner will be chosen.
• For Instagram #GiveAways we will PM the winner on Instagram and also tag the winner on a relevant Instagram post noting that they have won.
• For Facebook #GiveAways we will will PM the winner on Facebook and tag the winner on a relevant Facebook post noting that they have won.
