This post has all of the links to my posts about books; vintage & new, paperback & hardcover, comics & more!
Introduction
For each post I write, there are category keyword tabs at the top of the post. Each of those words is a link to the category, and you can get to that category overview (to see all of the posts in that category) anytime, by clicking on any of those words. I am working on writing summary posts for each category (like this one), so my readers will be able to see all of my posts written for some of the more popular categories on my blog, easily (at a glance). This is my first attempt at this, so feedback is welcome. Please let me know if these summary posts are helpful. Thank you!
And without further ado… my book-related posts (each numbered line below is a link to a post with photos and more information, including – in most posts – XRF test results for the item discussed):

I have quite a few hardback Disney
Books from the early 1970’s. Have you ever tested any of those? I think it was some kind of a club/subscription you got books from each month. My daughter loves the stories but if we need to get rid of them I will. Thanks so much.
Hi! First of all, thank you for all you do! I have learned so much!
On the list I only see one book from the 200s. Have you tested more to have a wider idea about books from the early 2000s and now? Thanks again!
I’m curious to know, not just the books you’ve tested, but in general how much lead is allowed in newer books, and products alike? How can we become more knowledgeable for ourselves to determine what might have lead? Are there certain guidelines we should be aware of, or certain things in general to know? I follow you and read everything you post, still I’m uncertain. (I stay away from vintage, but what years of things are ok, and what new things still might?)
Thank you so much!
Would you be concerned for newer books that have come in contact with older books that may have lead? For example, the older books were stored in a container with new books. Should all books be discarded, or just the older ones? Thank you
