When tested with an XRF instrument these seed balls had the following readings (if a metal is not listed it was not detected):

- Iron (Fe): 11,400 +/- 100 ppm
- Bismuth (Bi): 28 +/- 5 ppm
Blue Balls
- Barium (Ba): 1,472 +/- 169 ppm
- Bromine (Br): 6 +/- 3 ppm
- Zinc (Zn): 45 +/- 16 ppm
- Copper (Cu): 553 +/- 31 ppm
- Iron (Fe): 6,598 +/- 138 ppm
- Bismuth (Bi): 24 +/- 8 ppm
- Barium (Ba): 1,473 +/- 183 ppm
- Chromium (Cr): 107 +/- 70 ppm
- Bromine (Br): 6 +/- 3 ppm
- Zinc (Zn): 23 +/- 15 ppm
- Copper (Cu): 328 +/- 26 ppm
- Iron (Fe): 4,971 +/- 122 ppm
- Bismuth (Bi): 22 +/- 8 ppm
Yellow Balls
- Barium (Ba): 1,132 +/- 196 ppm
