#LeadFree: Vintage (1972) Fisher Price “Happy Apple”

| | | | | | | |

This vintage toy was surprisingly LEAD FREE when tested with an XRF instrument. All accessible components tested. Here’s my Amazon Affiliate link* for this product: http://amzn.to/2DIvfr7

Most vintage Fisher Price is positive for at least some amount of lead, cadmium or arsenic in one or more components – so this is very unusual. Click here to see other Fisher Price items I have tested.

  1. Thanks for making this informative website. Since the Happy Apple tested lead free, does this mean it is safe? My mum saved my old one for me to give to my baby. But I’m hesitant as I wonder if the paint could have changed been production batches? Are there other safety issues to consider with vintage toys beyond lead? Many thanks
