#LeadFree: Melissa & Doug Wooden Toy Train Set
I tested this Melissa & Doug wooden train set back in 2014 and it was non-detect (ND) for lead (Pb) when tested with an XRF instrument!

All of the Melissa & Doug products that I have tested have been negative for lead. The nice thing about Melissa & Doug is that many of their products don’t even use paint, the colors are often applied paper designs.
Would you like to see more test results like this? Please help me rent (or eventually buy!) an XRF instrument to continue this work. How can I find out if the wooden toy trains are still lead-free? Does it depend on the seller? Where you buy it? Also, what about Melissa and Dougs stainless steel pot set for children?
I have this set that was passed down to my kids. It’s probably 20 years old, but it looks exactly like this. Is it still lead free?
