When tested with an XRF instrument the RePlay Recycled Pink & Blue Sippy Cup (pictured below, purchased c. late-2015/early-2016) had the following readings (both components tested):
- Lead (Pb): Non-Detect (ND) / Negative
- Mercury (Hg): Non-Detect (ND) / Negative
- Cadmium (Cd): Non-Detect (ND) / Negative
- Arsenic (As): Non-Detect (ND) / Negative
All products that I have ever tested from this brand have also been free of the above listed toxicants. If you are going to use a plastic cup for your child this seems to be a really good option (at least from the perspective of being free from heavy metals!)

No PFAS either?

I only test for metals – you could look at the COAs from the company for other considerations.

Thank you for testing these! I have been using this brand of bowls and plates recently for my 3 yr old and am glad to see they are at least heavy metal free. I want to use glass but haven’t gotten there with the whole clumsy toddler thing. Maybe I will try stainless steel. I see your testing is from 2017 for this particular product. Hope it is still the same here ins 2024!
