#LeadedJewelry: Sparkly Headband

| | | | | | | | | | |

Sparkly child’s headband – sparkles: 419 ppm lead, jingle bell: no lead!
Tested with an XRF.

#SaferChoices: I avoid all sparkles (in jewelry and art projects) unless I have tested them myself.  The potential for them being leaded (and also then being ingested or inhaled accidentally) is too great for me personally (as a mother of lead poisoned children.)

  1. Is glitter leaded? There are sparkles and glitter on many clothing, hair accessories, purses, toys, many items for girls. Craft glitter?
