Naturepedic has organic cotton face masks for the Zombie Apocalypse!
Last night I was so excited to learn that Naturepedic (one of my favorite companies & my absolute favorite mattress and bedding company) is making reusable organic cotton face masks for families. I cannot think of a better reallocation of resources. As a mattress manufacturer, they already had manpower. They already had fabric and sewing supplies. They already had mad sewing skills and design skills and systems in place for sales and shipping — it is perfect really! I think the fact that in such a short time they were able to reorganize and re-tool to fabricate these is nothing short of heroic.
They are – at least for now – also selling them AT COST — which means they are paying their employees, paying for materials, and not making a profit on these masks. They are not making a profit but at the same time they are KEEPING THEIR EMPLOYEES EMPLOYED! I have so much respect for this company [I already did – before the Zombie Apocalypse – but this sends it really over the top] — and I hope other companies take this idea (to help others while also managing to keep their employees employed) and run with it.

In this country where doctors and lawyers and health insurance companies put out documentaries like “Lead Poisoning… The Perfect Predator” – 2019 about hazards and still people don’t get it and think it’s a joke, in this country where there are so many products that should not be on the market because of the harm they are causing, in this country with the most coronavirus (COVID-19) infections, which demonstrates people are dangerously ill-informed about essential health issues, you are a shining star and you will be rewarded in heaven.

I agree the masks are small. It barely fits me and is too small for my husband. I figured I can use them for my three kids if they need one.
